Warp Fims' THIS IS ENGLAND, directed by Shane Meadows has been scooping up awards months before its release.

Winning the 'Best Film' award at the British Independent Films Awards THIS IS ENGLAND beat BAFTA winners 'The Queen' and 'The Last King of Scotland' and Palme d'Or victor 'The Wind That Shakes The Barley' to the top prize in November. 14 year old star of THIS IS ENGLAND, Thomas Turgoose picked up 'Best Newcomer'. The film also won the Special Jury Prize at the Rome Film Festival.

The story of twelve year old Shaun growing up in the 80s world of a skinhead gang has struck a cord with audiences and reviewers alike:
