The Films

Corinna Faith’s thriller The Beast follows a girl who becomes captivated by a myth of a beast, only to overlook a real life beast that is closer than she realises.

Jesse Armstrong’s comedy directorial debut No Kaddish in Carmarthen, is the story of a love triangle, played out in those identity-searching years known as adolescence.

Commissioned for the London Olympics 2012, Swimmer follows a lone swimmer through the wild waters of the UK on a poetic and visual journey, framed by a soundtrack of seminal British music, combined with a sound tapestry of hydro-phonic recordings and snippets of bankside conversations.

Directing team Shynola’s Dr.Easy, sees a medically trained Robot sent in to a desperate man armed with a gun; bringing up questions about the state, authority and the future.

The first film written & directed by the acclaimed Paddy Considine, Dog Altogether is the story of a man who desperately seeks redemption before the rage that plagues him causes him to self-destruct.

Chris Cunningham’s classic and unsettling Rubber Johnny features a soundtrack by the inimitable Aphex Twin.
