Seven by 7 was a local club night created in 2001 by James Howse and Tim Bowell. They thought it would be great fun to have a night where everyone played 7-inch singles, so they created Seven by 7 - a night where DJs played their favourite seven 7-inches. And anyone could be a DJ.
