Watch the new video for Darkstar's most recent single 'A Day's Pay for a Day's Work', presented alongside information of performances at the Dummy Magazine AGM and Bristol's Simple Things Festival in October.

Watch the video directed by Lucy Luscombe below.

Filmed in a South London community centre, the video captures the trio taking part in various trust exercises and activities, an apt accompaniment to a single that touches on the subjects of confidence, self-esteem and relationships.

Following numerous live performances this year - including a show at London’s XOYO in February and appearances at Sonar, Fuji Rock and Green Man Festival - Darkstar continue this prolific run with performances at the Dummy Magazine AGM on September 28th and Bristol’s Simple Things Festival in October. Tickets for the Dummy AGM can be bought here.

'A Day's Pay for a Day's Work' is taken from the album 'News From Nowhere', released in February 2013, and is available from,

iTunes / Bleep / Amazon / Google Play (Android)

"an impressive metamorphosis... warped psychedelic pop." - The Times ****

" ... Elegant and progressive inclinations are the template for Darkstar's ability to strike a balance between man and machine" - Mojo ****

The band are set to release a series of remix EPs of tracks from 'News from Nowhere' by Zomby, Motorcity Drum Ensemble and Darkstar themselves. More information will be coming soon.
