The epicentre of the Northern electronic music scene that birthed Warp the label, the Warp shop was a Division street landmark until 1996 and the destination of many a pilgrimage from devoted fans. Throughout the weekend, Warp music and film, merchandise, signed copies and oddities will be sold, alongside DJ sets, art displays, competitions, the original Warp Shop sign and more.
The pop up shop will be open throughout the Warp20 (Sheffield) weekend - Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September, with a Closing Party on Sunday with DJ EASE, Bleep DJs and others to be announced.
If you're in town please come and say hi!
The shop's windows are already dressed so if you are near The Forum you may want to take a look. If not, you'll need to make do with the photos -------->
Fittingly, our friends at Bleep.com are helping us make this happen. Bleep sells high quality music, media, tickets and merchandise from Warp and countless other labels and is in a sense the direct continuation of the original shop.
Keep checking Warp.net for a full timetable of Shop goings-on.
