Over the band's 25 year career, Andy Turner and Ed Turner have collaborated on various projects as Plaid including most recently with Bruno Zamborlin on Mogees. Discover a selection ahead of the release of their new album 'Reachy Prints' next month.

Min-Y-Llan - His-Hell [Plaid Remix 2]

Plaid contributed two remixes of this song to Martin Boulton's 'Touched' project, with all proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support, read more at the album's Bandcamp page.

EL EX (Mogees Trailer)

Mogees are a small sensor and mobile app that transform everyday objects into musical objects. Plaid composed music specifically for the sensors and the Kickstarter program that was successfully funded earlier this year. Mogees also feature in the upcoming 'Reachy Prints' album and Plaid's live shows.

Hallowed, a short film by Chris Turner featuring a bespoke remix of Plaid's 'Eye Robot'

The film is based on Dante's Inferno and features dancers from the the English National Ballet who also commissioned the piece.

The Carp and The Seagull, soundtrack by Plaid

A short 3D film made in WebGL by Evan Boehm was made in a partnership between The Creators Project and Nexus Interactive Arts. The ambient soundbed loops created for the project are available to download from Bleep.

Quayala - Strata #3, sound by Plaid

The Strata project consist of a series of films, prints and installations investigating improbable relationships between contemporary digital aesthetics and icons of classical art and architecture, read more about the project at The sounds from the Strata series were released on 2x LP with a gatefold sleeve, also featuring a contribution from Mira Calix, at Bleep.

Tekkonkinkreet, soundtrack by Plaid

The Michael Arias' adaptation of Taiyo Matsumoto's manga 'Tekkonkinkreet' in 2006 was soundtracked by Plaid, who have since performed the music live with percussionists and a string section at the Barbican in London. The OST is available to buy at

Felix's Machines vs Plaid

Felix Thorn builds machines for art installations and material composed by Plaid for those machines was performed live at Village Underground in 2011.

Chime Super Deluxe, Plaid - 'Tender Hooks'

'Tender Hooks' was made available as part of Zoë Mode's new game Chime, which allowed players to rework the track, orginally released on the album 'Scintilli'.

Plaid & Southbank Gamelan Players

'Rubber Time' was written by Ed and Andy in collaboration with Dr. Rahayu Supanggah and the Southbank Gamelan Players and features in the short film by Ben Dowden featuring footage from a performance at Arnolfini in Bristol.

Upgrade + Mobilize (music by Plaid)
