As part of the tour, Plaid will be holding an album launch party at the Village Underground in London on the 23rd May (Tickets / Info). The show will see the duo team up with Bruno Zamborlin to use Mogees as part of their set up, having taken part in the Kickstarter campaign to launch the revolutionary new gadget that turns any object into a musical instrument by using only a small device connected to your smartphone. The Mogees will also be in use in their shows around Europe this summer.
The show will also incorporate a newly developed reactive system for the visual counterpart of the band’s live set. This follows in the wake of their recent visually interactive web app for new song ‘Tether’, which allowed users to manipulate the different elements of the track by simply dragging and clicking on their screen.
