To celebrate the one year anniversary of it's release, we're pleased to announce a Deluxe edition of Flying Lotus’ genre-redefining album ‘You’re Dead!’, available as of today in digital formats and on streaming services.
As part of this, the album’s Instrumentals come to digital formats for the first time, having only previously been available in a highly limited vinyl boxset edition of the album.
This release follows a significant twelve months for the LA based master-musician which has seen collaborations with contemporaries such as Kendrick Lamar and Thundercat, to musical icons George Clinton and Herbie Hancock.
Throughout the past year Flying Lotus featured as the resident DJ on Comedy Centrals’s ‘Why with Hannibal Burress’, scored the experimental short film ‘FUCKKKYOUUU’ for Eddie Alcazar and curated his own residency show on BBC Radio One, all amongst a touring schedule which saw live performances at Glastonbury, Coachella and Lollapalooza, to name just a few moments.
Part of the fun of following Flying Lotus is that you never know what’s coming next. So while we all wait impatiently for his next moves, why not revisit the last time he changed the game.
“...an electronic opus of irreducible ambition and immersive detail."
