Hello Everything

19/01/2009
Hello Everything, the exhilarating new album from Squarepusher, is out now. Above is Squarepusher performing Hello Meow from the album live at Koko, London in 2006.

Displaying a new confidence and maturity from Tom Jenkinson, this latest inimitable instalment is an electric compendium, effortlessly flexing his versatility as a producer.

Possibly his best work yet, Hello Everything presents a contented warmth and richness which can be savoured from beginning to end. Squarepusher has maintained the balance between experimentation, emotion and fun to produce a record which, as he simply puts, "is full of tunes! Its what you do after you’ve gone to the brink, have a laugh!".

Bringing together a prismatic array of tonal colours, harmonic diversity and carefully controlled rhythm, from the surreal and apparently unironic title onwards, we gain an impression of a man genuinely enjoying himself.
