LUX for airports - new album now playing in Haneda Airport, Tokyo

Brian Eno's new album LUX is being previewed throughout Haneda airport Terminal 2 until tomorrow.

Expanding upon the themes and sonic textures that were present on such classic albums as Music For Films, Music For Airports and Apollo: Atmospheres and Soundtracks, Brian Eno now releases LUX, his first solo album in seven years and his first instrumental composition of the 21st century. In celebration of the album release, LUX will be previewed at several locations throughout Japan's largest and busiest airport, Tokyo International Airport (Haneda Airport) Terminal 2 from November 2nd to November 6th.

LUX will be played in both the Discovery Museum the 3rd floor of Terminal 2 as well as in the arrival lobby on the 1st floor. There are also listening booths for a more focused listening experience in the Margo Bar on the first basement level as well as a high-end sound system playing the album around and outside the bar area.

LUX is released on November 12 2012 (13 in N. America) on CD and Download, and December 10 2012 (11 in N. America) on LP on Warp Records
