Installation selected for the London 2012 Olympics Festival

Mira Calix's installation "Nothing Is Set In Stone" has been selected as part of Hidden London, at the London 2012 Olympics Festival.

"Nothing Is Set In Stone" is a monolithic installation devised and composed by Mira Calix, designed by Overcraft. It incorporates an interactive sound system enabling visitors to experience the work through both touch and sound. Set in the tranquil surroundings of Fairlop Waters, a stunning country park and nature reserve in London Borough of Redbridge, the work will appear organically rooted in its landscape"

'Secrets: Hidden London' is a series of cross-cultural events taking place in little-known spaces across London, its aim is to encourage visitors to explore new parts of the capital. World-class dance, opera, sculpture and other performances will be held across canals, lidos, parks and more in a series of events created specifically for London’s lesser-known landscapes.
