Oneohtrix Point Never's latest offering is out now, featuring two new productions, alongside two reworked tracks from ‘Age Of’.
First premiered in New York, title track ‘Love In The Time Of Lexapro’ has become a staple of OPN's M.Y.R.I.A.D shows, its aquatic murmurs inspiring the EP's cover art.
Ryuichi Sakamoto's rework of ‘Last Known Image Of A Song’ takes its hypnotic and complex melody into an otherworldly realm, a stark and graceful retelling of the final track on OPN's ‘Age Of’. It follows on from OPN's rework of Sakamoto's ‘andata,’ released earlier this year – the opening song off his 2017 album, ‘async’.
The EP also features an acoustic version of ‘Babylon’ with Sandy (Alex G) at the helm, and brand new OPN production ‘Thank God I'm A Country Girl’.
