Contemporary reinterpretations of Italian operas opens tomorrow

Kwes has created a set of contemporary productions based on classic Italian operas, opening this Thursday in London.

Key arias from Verdi’s La Traviata and Puccini’s La Boheme and La Rondine completely re-imagined and brought to life by Kwes through a contemporary production, presented in association with Peroni and GO Opera.

Launching in London on 5th July at Triton Square, Regent’s Place, it will include brand new music from Kwes who will re-work an aria from La Rondine. The spring/summer production will be staged in a bespoke contemporary structure in an outdoor setting where the audience will become part of the performance. The second autumn/winter production will be a full performance of La Rondine in three parts and combined with a unique dining experience, with all music reworked by Kwes. Both operas will incorporate a city tour of Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow following the London events.

Exclusive tickets are available to Facebook fans on the Peroni UK page.
