New app 'SCAPE' available on iTunes Store, Regent Street store appearance next week

Prior to the release of new album 'LUX' via Warp, Brian Eno has presented a 'generative', music-based app for the iPad in partnership with Peter Chilvers, and will be discussing it further during a session at Apple's Regent Street store this week.

Officially released last month, the SCAPE app "makes music that thinks for itself", by focusing on combining elemental sounds to create music anew after each use.

The result isn't under the user's direct control, and instead plays based on the scene you've created. SCAPE is the follow-up to a similar app released previously by Eno and Chilvers called Bloom, which was originally available in 2008.
