New Machines New Music New Show

Jackson's latest project draws on his investigations into real-time music and musical instrument making. Inspired by the fundamentals of vibration, he has created a collection of instruments that feed off light, colour, resonance, diffractions and electromagnetism. Manual and organic, electronic and automated, the music will oscillate between visceral immediacy and transformations of light into sound, and waves into music. Logic and instinct fuse in a romantic approach to physics and techno-sciences.

IRCAM Live brings together contemporary creations, electronic music and new technology. The event will open with a major piece by Steve Reich, followed by a creation by Alexander Schubert and performances by the Ircam Live award recipients. Crowning the evening is Jackson and His Computerband's original performance.

In 2013, Jackson and His Computerband released a 2nd album, titled 'Glow', and followed it with two EPs - 'G.I. Jane (Fill Me Up)' and 'Memory'. Listen to them all via the links below, 'Glow' is available from,
