Anti-Pop Consortium:
Anti-Pop Consortium 'Perpendicular / Vector' Video by Markus Wambsganss

From Markus:

The video uses some ideas of W. Burroughs and Brion Gysin - the idea of words as a virus. It starts with an old man sitting at a desk in a strange looking room. There are lots of books (Burroughs, Ginsberg, Kaufman, etc.) lying on the desktop, as well as some newspapers. There is also a microphone and an antique typewriter. He starts looking through books and newspapers, cutting them in pieces and rearranging them (cut-up technique and fold-in technique). Then some unusual things start happening. He begins speaking his "new found words" into the microphone, which is connected to the typewriter, and the typewriter starts typing on it´s own. First a paper sheet showing the APC logo constructed of typewriter dots and type comes out. On the second attempt he gets the lyrics for "vector". Then he stands up, brings back a telephone and dials the number 39303.

The music changes to the "perpendicular" track.
You see a women sitting with closed eyes in front of a "Dream Machine". Then her phone starts ringing and she picks it up. She hears the words from "vector". She starts to get paralysed and then her body starts moving in an arhythmic way, but connected to the music. In the background her television is showing white noise and the APC logo begins to appear on the screen. She drops the telephone, walks to the television and throws it at the wall. She thinks everything is alright now until she realises that her own body is transforming into the APC logo.
Her head explodes.
