As we are sure almost everyone reading this site will be aware, the BBC Trust announced plans this week to close its digital station 6Music, as part of a strategic review of its service.
Since its launch in 2002, 6Music has steadily grown into a source of discovery for some of the most interesting music on national radio, with a remit to support alternative acts that do not regularly hit the upper reaches of the UK sales charts.
If like us and thousands of others you are dismayed at this news, but encouraged that the door seems open to revisit the decision if "massive public concern" is noted, we would urge you to make your voice heard here:
