Maximo Park's new album 'Our Earthly Pleasures' stormed into the UK Album Chart at Number 2 last week, Warp's highest ever album chart position.

This chart news comes three weeks after the single 'Our Velocity' reached number 9 in the UK Single Chart and achieved our first ever Radio 1 A-list.

'Our Earthly Pleasures' is the Newcastle five piece's second album, following 2005's Mercury nominated gold selling debut 'A Certain Trigger'. For this new release the band have teamed up with much heralded producer Gil Norton who has previously produced classic records for the Pixies amongst others.
