Maximo Park have announced the first single proper from their forthcoming album 'Quicken The Heart'

'The Kids Are Sick Again' once again displays the band's uncanny ability to craft uniquely evolving pop songs, twisting and turning before a rousing finale of exploding small-town frustration.

With the space and sonics that shape the new album, producer Nick Launay (PiL, Talking Heads, Nick Cave, Yeah Yeah Yeahs) has coaxed out one of 2009's most interesting pop moments.

The single is has a new video by United Visual Artists, in their second video for Warp following Battles' Tonto.

The Kids Are Sick Again is out on 4th May.  A special 4 for £4 bundle is available now from the Official Maximo Park Store.
