Described as 'bittersweet, whimsical, at times tragic' by director Michael Arias, this is another atmospheric piece of work from the band who previously worked with Arias on Tekkon Kinkreet, a film selected for the Berlin Film Festival and winner of the 2008 Japan Academy Prize for 'Animation of the Year'.

"For a few weeks this year we were, once again, transported to a world of Michael Arias' creation.  Not since Tekkon Kinkreet have we so completely immersed ourselves.  Hardly sleeping.  We were compelled to write.  The threads of music drawn from us by that place.  Then woven with its evocative fabric.  Let's go!

We travelled with them, as uncertain of the end as them.  lines blurred.  Celebration and hallucination.  The work and our lives feedding each other, inseperable.  Of course; it's inevitable.  'Heaven's Door' documents their jopurney and ours.  We'll see you on the beach."
