Warp Records Squarepusher New 'Do You Know Squarepusher?' Single - NME Single of the Week

New 'Do You Know Squarepusher?' Single - NME Single of the Week

The new 'Do You Know Squarepusher?' track is released on December 10th and the 1 track vinyl only 12" has just been voted NME's single of the week!

Here's what they said:

"It's like Squarepusher mainman Tom Jenkinson has timewarped a couple of decades ahead, nicked the hooks, melodies and breaks from all the records rocking the future top ten, come back to the present, and condensed all of it into four minutes. It's too lazy to say this is garage or d'n'b, because it's both, all stretched and squashed, and fashioned into something totally new. There is literally so much oing on in this record - shattered two-step beats, spectral vocals that lend it a kinda sleaze-rap drive, hardcore bass thuds, echoing electro FX, ambient synth tones - that it would take a lifetime to unpick it all.
Honestly, this is amazing. It makes everything else shit"

(it should be noted - when the track was originally released in December 2001 it was 'Untitled' - it later went on to be called 'Do You Know Squarepusher?' on the album of the same name in 2002)
