Celebrating two decades since the release of one of the most loved albums in the Nightmares On Wax catalogue with a deluxe vinyl box set, plus a pack of heady version excursions from dub maestro Adrian Sherwood.
In A Space Outta Sound sought inspiration in the reggae and dub sound system roots that George Evelyn aka DJ E.A.S.E grew up on, skilfully blended with other influences such as soul, hip-hop and jazz. Featuring iconic tracks such as “You Wish” and “Flip Ya Lid”, the reputation of the record has grown over the years to be seen as one of the key sides in the career of this singular artist.
The anniversary is anchored by two distinct physical offerings: a vinyl-only 3LP box set featuring the original album plus In A Space Outta Dub reinterpretations from On-U Sound label head Adrian Sherwood, with a reimagined sleeve, glow-in-the-dark print finish, cut-out speaker box, and sticker sheet + a standalone eight-track In A Space Outta Dub release available on LP, CD, and digital.
