In 2016, McVinnie and Tom Jenkinson (Squarepusher/Shobaleader One) joined forces to create ‘The Secret Life Of Organs’ a piece composed by Jenkinson and performed by McVinnie. Debuted at Royal Festival Hall with a subsequent UK tour, in 2019 the pair distilled that project LP All Night Chroma – a set of ambitious contemporary organ works that take full advantage of the tones the instrument has to offer.
