Stereotype Issue with CD and Disc Replacement Service
We have been made aware of an audio fault on the recent Stereotype CD format, unfortunately we believe that this has affected all copies. There are audio dropouts and skips during about 30 seconds of Track 5, ‘Falling’.
Firstly, Warp Records, would like to apologise for the inconvenience and want to rectify this as soon as possible. We are working with the manufacturer to produce replacement copies and we expect these to be delivered into our warehouses by the end of November.
Secondly, we want to emphasise that Tom Jenkinson made a huge effort, over several weeks, trying to get the audio for the Stereotype reissue sounding as good as possible, from initial DAT transfer to the finished masters, and has been deeply saddened by the issues that have arisen in the manufacturing of this product.
To receive a replacement CD free of charge, please email Feedback@warprecords.com the following details. The CD will be shipped in a paper sleeve, so please retain your original casing:
- Name
- Address
- Where the CD was purchased from
- Proof of purchase (Receipt, Invoice etc.)
Once this information has been sent we will then provide you with a code and link to redeem your replacement CD.
